Unapologetic

Call for Price

Description

The physical expression of Frida should not be underestimated. She celebrated her “beautiful” facial hair, a fractured spine as a result of the accident, one leg smaller than the other and a prominent monobrow. Frida was a woman who could barely walk. She often used a wheelchair and could barely get out of bed. Incredibly, her disability contributed to fuelling her luminous creativity and catapulting her into the limelight.

This large abstract creation painted on canvas by Australian contemporary artist Franko beutifully interprets an Unapologetic Frida Kahlo.

Interestingly, history has documented that Frida neither presented herself as someone else nor hid behind a façade or ever made excuses. She lived her life simply, and she was successful. Frida expressed her passion, that was all that mattered.

Unapologetic Frida aims to celebrate empowering oneself in attaining one’s full potential. Unapologetic Frida rises above the pain, the hardships, and the struggles of life. Unapologetic Frida remains flawless.

“Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly.” – FRIDA KAHLO

Every Unapologetic Frida by Franko piece of canvas art comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Unapologetic is usually created 200cm x 60cm, however in consultation with our creative director adaptations of size are possible. Please reach out for more information.
